Building: Roofing and guttering to traditional styles & installation of loft insulation, rebuilding & repairing walls and architectural features, re-pointing, installing concrete floors, plasterboarding and dry lining, outdoor works including laying patios & small scale landscaping.
Joinery: Fitting doors, windows and shutters, installing, repairing and refurbishing timber floors, timber treatment, interior and exterior joinery, fitting Bathrooms and Kitchens.
Plumbing and drainage: Installation of septic tanks and waste piping, all plumbing for kitchens & bathrooms.
Electrical: All works to current standards.

I own and run Aveyron Renovations. After a career in the building industry spanning over 30 years I came to the Aveyron in 2004 looking for a change of lifestyle, the chance to slow down and savour the finer things that life has to offer in a country that has a reputation for taking life a little slower than I had been used to. However, I soon realised there was so much building and renovation work to be done in the area the temptation to get involved was irresistible and so Aveyron Renovations was formed.
My career started with an apprenticeship in carpentry and from there I continued to gain knowledge and experience of the building industry over the following years culminating in running my own successful business. Much of my work was in industries such as bank and hotel refurbishment, high street shop-fitting for names such as BHS and Estée Lauder – where, incidentally, quality of finish is paramount - as well as smaller domestic projects. My experiences are far-reaching.
The work in the Aveyron includes all aspects of renovation works, both large and small. My experience and attention to detail ensures customer satisfaction as demonstrated by frequent requests for repeat works. I will also call upon a small team of trusted artisans to provide additional help where need.
Once the project scope and timescale is defined and the price and payment schedule agreed work can commence. Incidentally, payments can be arranged either in Sterling or Euros. I provide regular e-mail updates with photos to reassure that all is going well. Since many of my customers are absent during the works, this is important for their peace of mind. Should problems arise, communication via e-mail with photos provides an efficient method to ensure these are resolved quickly and work can continue with minimal delay.
