Roof Repair.

The roof on a small three storey house was leaking and found to be beyond repair. As the pictures show the timbers were not structuraly sound and were replaced with new treated woodwork. The roof is fully planked out as is the norm here and re-covered using new tiles. Guttering was also fitted to prevent rain water from damaging the walls

Built in cupboard.

This cupboard was built into a spare corner of the dining room. The hardwood doors have been left natural to blend in with the rustic look of the apartment.

Flat roof repair and creation of a roof terrace.

The client had a leaking roof terrace. The first part of the project involved installing a waterproof membrane to cure the leaks. To make more use of the roof an opening was made in the corner and a small lean-to constructed to provide protection for the building below. The roof was later fully tiled to make a pleasant rooftop escape for the evening aperitif.

Compact kitchen.

This small but comprehensive kitchen was built in a mansarde (attic) apartment

Balcony repair.

A very dodgy balcony (apparently held up by some old cages...) was removed and rebuilt in hardwood to provide somewhere safe to stand and admire the morning view.

Electrical work.

Old french electrics have something of a reputation where one socket and a dozen extension leads is not untypical in old properties! However, current standards ensure electrical systems are comprehensive and very safe.
